Sometimes I wonder, where is the church? Why are there so many people dying young? Why are there so many depressed and hurting people sitting right on our church pews? I mean, Jesus is risen. The day of Pentecost has passed.
These questions may seem strange to ask, but these are the kinds of things that keep me up at night. My heart is just burning with the desire to see miracles happen in people’s lives and for people to experience the power the risen Lord Jesus Christ!
So many times, the church is no better than the world. When people come to us for help, we just refer them right back to the world. We send the sick to doctors, the homeless to homeless shelters and the depressed to therapy. Nothing against these things. Thank God for them. But, the Church should offer a better alternative than the world. The word of God has answers to every one of these problems. Jesus stripped the power from every one of these problems on the cross. Then he turned around and told us to use his name to enforce His victory. Yet, so many times, we still act like we’re victims. We beg God to do something not realizing that he already has!
For example, there just really shouldn’t be so many sick Christians. What you say? I’m telling you that this is a travesty in the Body of Christ. The truth is that name of Jesus is above every other name. I don’t care what disease it is. If it has a name, at the name of Jesus it must bow.
So what’s the problem? Well, for the most part we just believe God can heal but aren’t sure if he will. We’ve totally missed the fact that God has already done everything he’s going to do about sickness through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. So, we’re waiting on God to do something when he’s told us to do something in His name!
Oh and then, there’s a whole other group of us that still are naive enough to believe that God is the problem. He’s the one that actually is allowing the sickness. When in reality it’s us. Sickness is a defeated foe! The Body of Christ has been given authority over every sickness and every disease. Yet rather than taking authority over it, we’re still wondering whether it’s always God’s will to heal. Oh and don’t even get me started on poverty! Poverty is a curse that we’ve been redeemed from…
Help me please!!! I feel like Jeremiah with fire shut up in his bones. I must get this message out! Lives are at stake and I am so aware of it. I must get the truth about how to know and enforce God’s will into the hands of hurting people!
So how can you help me? Well number one pray. Pray for open doors for me to share this message with more and more people. Pray that hurting and lost people will be drawn to the ministry. And also pray that people with a heart to fulfill the great commission including the part about laying hands on the sick and casting out devils will find the ministry and join us in our mission…
Number two, support the ministry financially. When you sow financially into this ministry, you are in effect fulfilling the great commission with us and saving lives. Our heart’s desire is to see the miraculous life transforming power of God manifest in people’s lives with tangible results. We want to see bodies healed, minds healed, relationships restored, and souls saved! We have a vision to open prayer and healing centers where people can experience the miracle working power of God all over the world. We have a vision to raise up an army of trained Christians that will use the authority of Jesus to conquer sickness, disease and every other work of the devil.
It’s harvest time people! And I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to roll…
Blessings,
Schlyce
