The Jesus Show on Halloween?

              

 As Sarah Palin would say… YOU BETCHA!!!

I just love this pumpkin!!!  Man I wish I could carve….  Isn’t it just the perfect picture of Romans 6:9 (Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him)?

To me, Halloween is the perfect time to celebrate Jesus’ victory over death.  I mean why celebrate death when you can worship the one that defeated death?  So enough of the ghouly ghouls.  Get me some of these pumpkins to put on my porch!

Be There or Be Square!!!

I’m really sensing an special anointing for this Friday’s service.  I’ve had several prophetic dreams this week.  After one particularly powerful one, I woke up with the following word from the Lord:

The times are coming and are indeed here when brother will turn against brother and sister and mother shall mourn.  For these are the days spoken of by the prophet Joel when the world is waxing old.

But do not fear my people, do not fear.  Understand these days and rejoice for the end is near.  Just be about My Father’s business and declare the word of God.  The righteous shall continually flourish and be satisfied for the Kingdom of God is your source of provision and supply.

The gospel of the kingdom shall be preached throughout the world.  The goodness of My kingdom shall be preached and demonstrated as a witness.  And though the days of Noah are upon you, rejoice, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.  It is only a breath away and will supply all your needs.  For the King of that Kingdom, the King of all Kings, reigns forever more, and at His name, nations bow down and demons flee.

Do not be dismayed in the coming days if things start to look better or worse.  Look up, look out and recognize that your peace comes only from me.  I am moving in the midst of turmoil.  I am moving in the midst of drought.  I am moving in the midst of famine. 

Move with Me. 

Make My priorities your priorities and you shall continually prosper.

Do not fear for the end is near.  This is your hour to shine.  When gross darkness covers the people is when your light shines the brightest.  So shine my church with the glory, power and authority that I have given you and prepare to win!

Win the lost, spoil the enemy.  With My light, My truth, and My power.  Do not back down.  Dig in as never before and set yourselves on the mark of the prize.  Move forward in what I have called you to do.  Expand My kingdom.  Take back the captives.  Look for increased opportunities to make disciples and recognize that the war is fought in the spirit and the prize is souls for eternity.

You have been empowered to prosper.  You have been endued with strength.  You cannot only endure but flourish in the days ahead as your continually drink from My everlasting wells of salvation.  Remember, those that water, shall be watered.  Those that feed shall be fed.  So be about My Father’s business and watch My Kingdom expand. 

Focus on your part, your assignment.  Don’t worry about others, just pray.  And as you pray and keep watch over your part, My will shall be accomplished.  I love you My bride.  Keep walking by faith and declaring the word and your days shall end well.

Great Prayer Meeting!

We had a another great prayer and planning meeting on Friday night at the Old Town Guesthouse.  Prayer is such an important part of everything we do… Without it I really believe we just end up spinning our wheels.  Some of the things that we prayed for include:

1. Wisdom to finalize the 501(c)3 and the ministry’s legal structure
2. Schlyce & Brian’s upcoming move on 10/25
3. The Old Town Guesthouse purchase
4. The Jesus Show
5. Our partners

Please agree with us in prayer for wisdom and increase in every area as we continue to pursue God’s plans for the ministry.  We love you and please know that we are praying for all of you as well.

The Jesus Show Hits the Streets!

Last night, the Jesus show hit the streets for a night of evangelism and it was awesome!

As you can see, we set up a couple of “FREE PRAYER” signs and made a make-shift prayer station outside of a Starbucks downtown.  We starting praying for people as they passed by without them even knowing it, and pretty soon, people started coming up to us and asking for prayer.  It was really amazing to see how God orchestrated the whole thing.  We were able to pray for some wonderful people with very real needs. 

Here’s Travis for example, he just got out of prison and was asking for prayer to continue walking with the Lord.  He does not want to go back to jail and he’s looking for a new life. 

 

Kevin was another precious man that we prayed with that has been living on the streets for two weeks after losing his job and getting kicked out of his home.   We had the opportunity to spend quite a bit of time ministering and praying with him.  And then of course, we can’t forget Joe who stopped by for prayer right after he was assaulted by two men.  As you can see, we were able to call the police for him and get him the help he needed in addition to praying for him. 

Of course there were a couple of party goers out headed to the bars that might not have been so excited to see us.  We did receive a couple of sarcastic remarks.  But that didn’t stop us for praying for them anyway.  In fact, we believe that praying for those people was as important as praying for the ones that actually asked for prayer.

Overall, it was just an awesome time of fellowship and ministry.  Everyone left energized, blessed and thankful for the opportunity to be used by the Lord.  The word says that “those that water, shall themselves be watered,” and all we can say is AMEN!  We felt refreshed and alive when we left last night to go home.

What an Awesome Time!

        

DON FRANCISCO SINGS HE’S ALIVE AT ANDREW WOMMACK’S MINISTERS CONFERENCE! (It was amazing!)

Last week was Andrew Wommack’s minister’s conference and it was just awesome!!!  I had a house full of ministers staying at our house (7 in total) and it was 24/7 Jesus…  I loved every minute of it!!!

My dear friend, mentor and  former boss who is now on my board, Pastor Barlow, brought 4 people from his church, Family Life Christian Center (Pastors Rob Ritacco, Roger and Carolyn Flanagan and their son  Jeremy) and Pastor John Blig and his assistant Daniel drove all the way from their church, Oasis of Light, in San Antonio.  It was a wild and anointed week with people sleeping all over the place, eating late night at the Village Inn and staying up way too late talking!  We got to hear Andrew, Bob Nichols and Bob Yandian speak every day at the conference and the praise and worship was “off the hook!”

I learned so much this week I don’t even know where to start.  I think I’ll be going over my notes for the next month…  But one thing I should mention is what really stood out to me at this conference.  There was this amazing sweet Spirit that permeated the meetings.  I don’t know if I can describe it well enough to do it justice, but there was literally overwhelming sense of love and acceptance in the atmosphere and room.

Believe it or not, a lot of the things involved in ministry and even in the Church can be so superficial.  What’s your title, how big is your church, who do you know… blah, blah, blah.  But, all of this was refreshingly non-existent this week.  There was just this sense of genuineness, authenticity and freedom in the air!

It was like the Lord was telling everyone… “Be free, be who I created you to be!  Don’t try to be like anyone else!”  Which reminds me.  I think the most amazing thing the Lord spoke to me this week was a wonderful definition of success.  It came to me during one of the moments during the conference when I could sense the very spirit that I’ve been talking about very heavily.  Here’s what I heard.

“True success cannot be defined by what other people can see.  It’s not how big of a ministry you build, how much money you have, how famous you are, or how many people you get saved, etc.  It’s defined purely by obedience to Me.  True success is defined by how well you obey My instructions.  Remember if you love Me, you will obey Me.  So obey Me my daughter.  Stop, look, listen, and obey.  This is My formula for success – period.”
