The Miracle Center (A Place for Prayer and Healing…)

Posted in Schlyce Jimenez Ministries with tags , , , , , , , , , , on September 20, 2008 by Schlyce

I’ve had a vision in my heart, for several years now, to open a prayer & healing center where people could come to seek the Lord, fast, pray, and receive healing, deliverance and miracles.

Well today, the need for such a place was dramatically confirmed, when two of my closest friends from college emailed me separately about their serious need for a miracle.  One is facing brain surgery on Monday to remove a brain tumor that has wrapped itself around her spine and the other one was asking me to pray for their miraculous deliverance from drugs and alcohol.

My heart just broke for both of them after reading their emails.  Not because I doubt God’s willingness and power to intervene in both their situations, but because I know what it is like to desperately need a miracle and not know how to get one.

You see, my journey to wholeness has been a long one.  I remember spending years in therapy without results because the root of my problems were spiritual.  I also remember spending years praying fruitless prayers because I didn’t understand the authority of the believer.  But probably the worst thing I remember was when I was under the greatest spiritual attack, I didn’t know anyone that knew how to fight the devil.  Everyone I knew was either afraid of him or didn’t believe in him.  Also, I didn’t know anyone personally at the time that had experienced a miracle.  So as a result, I suffered.  It would have been so awesome if I would have had a place to go for prayer, healing and deliverance.  I needed all three desperately!

So, that’s why I have such a desire to have a place for people to come and experience the power of God and learn how to operate in the supernatural realm.  So agree with me in prayer would you?  I recently learned that the Old Town Guesthouse, which is the place where we’ve been holding our Healing Boot Camps and Intercessory Prayer Training, is for sale!  Honestly, its the perfect place to start a prayer and healing center.  And I truly believe that it’s no coincidence that we’re there, so please pray that God’s exact blueprint, timing, and plan for the vision would be accomplished!

Here’s some pictures of the facilities to give you an idea of just how wonderful a place it could be!

It’s really a beautiful building!

This would be a great meeting room for prayer, bible study and counseling!

This is the room we’ve already been using for training.  It would make a great sanctuary as well!

The foundational scripture for the vision is Mark 10:27 –

“With men it is impossible, but not with God:  for with God all things are possible.”

so please, keep my friends and the vision for The Miracle Center lifted up in prayer.

God bless you and keep walking by faith!

Great Prayer Meeting!

Life is short, pray hard

We had an awesome time in prayer tonight at the Old Town Guesthouse.  It is wonderful to see how God is connecting people to the vision and giving them a heart to pray.  Some of the key things we prayed over tonight were for:

  1. Additional anointed musicians and worship leaders to be added to the ministry.
  2. Clarity of vision and wisdom, especially in the areas of marketing, media, organization and ministry leadership.
  3. The Spirit of unity to permeate the ministry to bring unity to the body of Christ.
  4. The correct positioning of people  in helps positions in the ministry.
  5. An increase in miracles and the number of miracle workers being trained and sent out from the ministry.

There were others, but these were some of the biggies.  Also, for those of you that have a heart to pray for us, our weekly prayer confessions have been added to the download section below.  Remember, the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much – so pray away!

Blessings,

Schlyce

SJM September e-Letter

Posted in Schlyce Jimenez Ministries with tags , , on September 1, 2008 by Schlyce

Well, I finally found a way to keep in touch with my partners more regularly.  For some reason, mail was just not working for me.  By the time I finished writing the letter, printing it out, printing envelope labels, and dealing with postage it was like a two week process.  So inevitably I would just end up “postponing” getting the letter out.  But no more!  I finally saw the light!  My real estate agent, Tracey Irvin, who also recently led worship for us at the Jesus Show, told me about a great website called www.constantcontact.com, where you can set up email newsletters for a low monthly subscription.  So problem finally solved!!!!  No more manual labor.  It’s truly as simple as typing the letter and entering email addresses.  So, thank you Tracey!  Now I can finally get some sleep!  You can download September’s e-Letter from the downloads section right here from the blog (see right column) and/or you can sign up to receive future e-letters by going to mailing list.
